LEWIS COUNTY, .Y. -- A man is dead after a snowmobile accident in Lewis County.

It happened on North South Road in Osceola around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses told deputies the vehicle's skis suddenly turned, causing the driver to fly off.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
