BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- Broome County Executive Debbie Preston is preparing to give her second State of the County address. Preston will deliver her 2013 address at 5 p.m. Thursday inside the Broome County Legislative Chamber.

The County Executive says tomorrow's address will lay out a blueprint for Broome County. She says she will focus on several topics, including jobs and economic development.

Preston says she looked at what was accomplished in 2012 as well as what needs to be accomplished in the future.

"I'm going to start out on where we were and where we are going to go, and I'm excited because it's a plan for the future, and that's why I say it's a blueprint for Broome, because it’s going to be an actual plan," said Preston.
