Truck crash leads to ten car pileup
SCHUYLER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A jack-knifed tractor trailer led to a ten car pileup in the town of Cayuta.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to State Route 13 near the Chemung County line just before 7 a.m. Monday.
According to investigators, after the tractor trailer crashed, other vehicles hit the side of the truck. One person suffered minor injuries.
Police say freezing rain contributed to the accident.
