CONKLIN, N.Y. -- Flames destroyed a Conklin home on Monday. Crews were called to Millburn Drive around 10 a.m.
Seven departments were on the scene for more than two hours. No one was home when the fire started.
Firefighters say it was the second time crews responded to flames in that neighborhood in less than 24 hours.
"We had a call last night, an electrical fire in the wall and we put it out and the fire investigator was here and investigated it. We don't know if that was part of the problem here or not," said Bill Gorman, Conklin Fire Chief.
Investigators are still trying to pinpoint what caused the fire.
