SYRACUSE, N.Y. - With only seven recruited players available for at least the next two games, Syracuse men's basketball head coach Jim Boeheim is hoping his available players can stay on the floor and avoid a situation in which the walk-ons are needed.
Freshman center Dajuan Coleman will miss around four weeks after having surgery on his left knee this past Tuesday and senior forward James Southerland's academic suspension will cost him at least two more games while he waits for a hearing next week according to the Syracuse Post-Standard's Mike Waters.
Syracuse plays at Pittsburgh this Saturday then hosts Notre Dame on Monday.
