State Police say they tried to stop a car driven by Christopher Perciful, 31, after it was reported stolen. They say Perciful refused to stop the car, then lost control and hit a house on State Route 37.

Police say he ran from the scene but was arrested a short time later at a truck stop.

Perciful is now charged with criminal possession of stolen property, DWI, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
