DEWITT, N.Y. -- DeWitt Police are looking for two men who robbed the Chase Bank on East Genesee Street in DeWitt Monday night.
Around 5:30 p.m., the men walked in the back door of the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. No weapon was shown and no one was hurt, but police say the suspects fled through the same door they came in at and ran from the area toward the City of Syracuse.
Police have released surveillance photos as they try to identify these suspects. The first, pictured on the left, is about 5-foot-10, mid to late 20s and medium build. The second had a similar built, was wearing possibly a North Face jacket, dark pants and a dark winter hat.
Anyone who was in the area and saw the men or a vehicle that seemed suspicious is asked to contact police. Tips can be called in to (315) 449-3640.
