Police seek two men after armed robbery

AUBURN, N.Y. -- Police in Auburn are looking for two men following an armed robbery. It happened on Seymour Street near North Street around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim told police a man approached him and asked to use his cell phone. When he handed the phone over, the man showed a handgun and threatened the victim.

The suspect is described as a man about 20 years old, 5’5” and heavy set. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark colored sweat pants, and a black beanie hat.

Another man in the area was not directly involved in the robbery, but police say they believe he knew the first suspect. This man is described as about 5’10”, wearing an orange baseball hat.
