OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit and run in the Town of Granby.

Troopers say a bicyclist was riding on State Route 48 Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. when she was hit by a car. The victim has non-life threatening injuries, but is hospitalized.

Police are now trying to track down the car involved, which never stopped.
They describe it as a dark red or maroon colored Volkswagen sedan, possibly a Passat or a Golf. There should be damage to the front bumper and right side of the vehicle, which was headed southbound on State Route 48 at the time of the crash.

Anyone with information can call State Police at (315) 593-6194. Tips can be kept anonymous.
