ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- People were enjoying the warm weather again across the region. Temperatures soared into the high fifties and even topping out in the sixties in some areas.
It doesn't feel like January and many people were taking advantage of the thaw. Vehicles were lined up at the Delta Sonic Car Wash in DeWitt. People were trying to get the salt and sand off their cars.
"You know, if it’s a sunny day, we'll do about 2,000 cars probably. If it’s snowing out, not quite so much. People still come in to get their cars washed but, sometimes we're backed all the way around," said Jordan Briggs.
Of course, washes can help prevent rusting and other winter time damage to vehicles.
