PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The SU basketball team rallied from a nine-point first-half deficit to beat the Providence Friars 72-66 Wednesday night. Junior forward C.J. Fair had 23 points and 11 rebounds while Michael Carter-Williams added 17 points, six rebounds, six assists, and five steals in his return to the city in which he became a prep school star.
The Orange (15-1, 3-0) return to the Carrier Dome to host Villanova Saturday at noon.
