ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The increasingly popular Athleta Iron Girl Triathlon has sold out once again. This time, the August event sold out in less than 12 hours.

This will be the fourth year for the event held at Oneida Shores Park. Competitors start with a 600 meter swim, followed by an 18 mile bike ride and 5k run.

Last year, 1,300 people participated.

If you wanted to sign up but were too late, Fleet Feet has 35 spots reserved for the race for those who participate in one of their triathlon training programs.
