NEW YORK -- Wegmans is freezing the prices on a number of its staple products this winter. The company says it will not increase the retail cost of 53 products for the next three months. Those products range from peanut butter to boneless chicken breasts and fresh fruit.

Wegmans says it has received positive customer feedback from similar seasonal price freezes in the past to help consumers during tough economic times.
