Bicyclist arrested with handgun
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police caught a wanted man riding around with a loaded gun.
Officers say they tried to stop Timothy Brunson, 34, who was riding a bike on Grace Street Monday night. He fled, but was eventually stopped and arrested after police discovered a loaded .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun on him. They say Brunson had two active warrants out for his arrest and is now being held in the justice center.
Brunson is facing a long list of charges, including resisting arrest, criminal possession of a weapon and forgery.
