TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Groton woman is dead after a crash in the Town of Dryden. It happened Sunday afternoon on Route 366, near Upper Creek Road.

State Police say Victoria Howell, 20, of Groton, lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the path of another driver. Howell was transported to Cayuga Medical Center where she later died.

The other driver was not hurt.

No charges were filed.
