SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- In the wake of recent tragic events, a special service was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Syracuse.

The Service for Holy Innocents traditionally commemorates the children killed in Bethlehem by King Harod, but this year it also paid tribute to the young lives lost in Newtown, Connecticut, and for all victims of violence everywhere.

Free will offerings were collected during the service to help fund Hope for Bereaved.
