HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Four men are accused of stealing from the Herkimer County business they worked for.

State Troopers say the suspects used information from Fiberdyne Labs in Frankfort to create their own company.

Ronald Scalise, 52, from Herkimer, created and financed Trans World Fiberoptics. With the help of three other Fiberdyne employees, the group used business policies, customer contacts and technicians to divert customers to the new company.

Matthew Paoni, 52, Daniel Caiola, 30, and Michael Caiola, 31, were also arrested by troopers.

All four were charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, conspiracy and scheme to defraud among other counts.
