Man charged with selling counterfeit products

HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man has been charged for selling counterfeit clothes and accessories.

State Troopers went into the business formerly known as Mister L's on East Main Street in Frankfort. Detectives found 30 counterfeit purses, 95 fake North Face jackets, 79 pairs of phony Uggs, various sports jackets, hats and untaxed cartons of cigarettes.

Troopers charged Robert Lavalla, 64, with felony trademark counterfeiting and misdemeanor criminal tax fraud. He's due back in Village of Frankfort court on January 8th.
