SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- DPW crews are trying to make repairs on the East Seneca Turnpike.

Water caused parts of the road to buckle below the Interstate 81 bridge Sunday afternoon.

Workers were going to make the repairs Sunday evening and reopen the road.

A detour was put in place directing traffic around the broken roadway.
