Salvation Army worker robbed
UTICA, N.Y. -- The man responsible for robbing a Salvation Army employee while she was trying to make a bank deposit Saturday night has been arrested.
Police say Jovan Mullenax, 23, robbed the woman at the Adirondack Bank on Genesee Street in Utica. He was arrested in the parking lot of a nearby credit union.
According to officials, he also had heroin with him when he was picked up.
Mullenax was charged with third degree robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
