SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A little more luck was involved for families welcoming a newborn into the world. One of the few babies born in Syracuse was Aleeah Rose Ochsner.

Her mother said she wasn't due until Thursday, but was hoping her daughter would have the chance to be born on such a unique day.

"I think it's amazing. How often would something like that happen? It's something we were kind of looking forward to, hoping that it would happen," Emilee Doupe said.

And if you can believe it, hospitals in both Buffalo and Johnson City report having babies born at 12:12 p.m.
