Former Oneida County legislator sentenced
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former Oneida County legislator will spend at least a year in prison as his criminal history catches up with him.
Ed Revere, 48, was arrested in Georgia last July. At the time, he was wanted for violating probation and failing to appear in court for multiple DWI arrests.
Revere, who was a county legislator in the late 90s, had been on the run for several years.
Wednesday, it was announced that he pleaded guilty to a felony count of driving under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to one to three years in state prison.
