CAMILLUS, N.Y. -- A portion of Routes 5 and 174 in Camillus were closed Wednesday after a dump truck spilled debris on the road. It was a mixture of dirt, mud and stone.

There was a large mess and crews say it took the driver a while to realize that debris was falling out.

Camillus Police say it caused a one car accident, sending the driver to the hospital with a minor injury.

Route 5 eventually re-opened around 3:45 p.m.
