SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- An annual holiday tradition comes back to Syracuse's Everson Museum of Art this year. Dozens of trees, decorated in their own unique ways, are on display for the 27th Annual Festival of Trees.

All of the 65 trees and wreaths were made by local businesses, individuals, schools and community groups. Organizers say this year's festival is special though because for the past two years it couldn't be held at the museum.

"This is very exciting this year. The Festival of Trees had been at Shoppingtown Mall for the last two years so we are delighted to be welcoming it back to the galleries this year. We have some incredibly creative contributions and I'd say that some of the trees and wreaths that we have this year are the most unique yet,” said Sarah Massett, Assistant Director of Everson Museum.

The Festival of Trees is open now through December 9th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
