WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- The group of residents living in Watertown's North Side who say they're suffering from various health issues related to chemical dumping from the former New York Air Brake site are looking for others who may have been affected.

The residents held a teleconference Wednesday with the California-based law group that's representing them and also an investigator working with famous environmentalist Erin Brockovich.

By the end of the year, the firm, the Vititoe Group, wants to have all the information on who has fallen ill and from what. So anyone who lives or previously lived in the area and feels they may have been affected is asked to contact the group to see if they would qualify to be a part of the legal process.

So far, our messages left with the Air Brake's Parent Company, Knorr-Bremse and SPX, a company that took part in previous cleanup efforts, have gone unreturned.
