STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man was seriously injured after a fire on his property.

Flames erupted on a pavilion at the corner of Forest Drive and Hamilton Street in the Town of Erwin. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Flames destroyed the pavilion.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
