ELMIRA, N.Y. -- An Elmira landlord has pleaded guilty to neglecting properties that she owns.

Elizabeth Holloway admitted to failing to maintain the exterior of 514 West Water Street and failing to maintain windows at 262 Caldwell Avenue.

Holloway was the first landlord to be prosecuted since the city began cracking down on serious code violations in July. The city says she had been neglecting her two properties since 2005.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 18th.
