BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- Broome Community College is working to support our troops this holiday season.

The college's Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Departments are collecting donations to distribute to local military members stationed overseas in combat zones.

Items needed include AA batteries, pre-paid phone cards, baby wipes, beef jerky and trail mix.

If you'd like to donate, you can drop off items at the school's business building in room 104 throughout the day. The donations will be picked up for delivery on December 10th in order to ensure that they make it to the troops in time for the holidays.
