MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. - The Lansing boys soccer team entered the Class C state semifinals unbeaten and untied for the second-straight year, but that is where the similarities ended as the Bobcats survived this time with a 1-0 win over Hoosick Falls on Saturday.

Andy Parkes scored the goal for 21-0-0 Lansing, ranked No. 2 in the state, which now gets a chance for both its first-ever championship and revenge against the team that knocked it out last year, top-ranked Port Jefferson (19-0-0). The Class C final is Sunday at 10 a.m.
