SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A registered sex offender in Seneca Falls was arrested for possessing child porn.
Police searched the home of Lawrence Higgins, 61, and found thousands of images of child porn and hundreds of hours of video of child porn on his computers and DVDs. Police say Higgins ordered 11 DVDs of child porn from an international company between November 2008 and March 2011.
Higgins is charged with knowing receipt and possession of child pornography. He was previously convicted of four counts of sex abuse from a 1993 incident involving a child younger than 11.
Higgins may also face charges from possessing a rifle and ammunition.
