CINCINNATI - Facing the best rushing attack in the Big East on Saturday the Syracuse football team did itself no favors in allowing the Bearcats to run well over their average with 263 yards in a 35-24 defeat.
The rushing result came on the heels of allowing 369 yards at South Florida and has the Orange ranking seventh in the conference in rush defense with 160.3 yards per game.
Syracuse next plays Louisville in the final Carrier Dome game of the season Saturday starting at noon.
