Man who led police on chase in court
MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. -- The case of the man who led sheriff's deputies on a chase in Madison County earlier this week is now headed to county court.
Oneida City Court officials say Michael Loveless pleaded not guilty to several counts Thursday, including felony DWI and fleeing police in a motor vehicle.
The charges stem from an incident Wednesday night when authorities say Loveless sped off after being pulled over by a deputy. He ended up hitting a curb and causing his airbags to deploy, then left the running vehicle and took off on foot.
Loveless waived his right to a hearing and will be scheduled to appear in Madison County Court at a later date.
