SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- You could soon see a little more construction outside of Destiny USA. A pedestrian bridge is in the works to be built over Hiawatha Boulevard, creating a safe and easy path for people to get to the mall from the new parking lots on Hiawatha Boulevard and Solar Street.

The enclosed walkway was voted on by the Syracuse Common Council Monday and passed unanimously.

There's no word on when construction will begin.
