SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The animals at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo got in the Easter spirit Saturday.

The Asian Elephants, African Lions, and several other species took part in an Animal Egg-stravaganza. The elephants got to munch on a watermelon, while dozens of people looked on.

The feeding is part of the zoo's enrichment program, which encourages animals to use their natural behaviors found in the wild.
