The grant is for individual artists and awards range from $250 to $750.

"These kinds of grants are very rare. These are grants that will allow the artist to develop professionally. That is something that is an okay element in whatever project, or whatever purpose they have for their grant application," said Broome County Arts Council Executive Director Sharon Ball.
Applications for the grant must be submitted by May 9th. Prior to applying, artists are required to Call the Broome County Arts Council.
