WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- A Watertown man has pleaded guilty to robbing a bank.
William Pitoniak, 38, admitted to robbing the Washington Street Key Bank on June 16th. Pitoniak did not display a weapon during the robbery, but did leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. He then led police on a car and foot chase and was eventually caught and arrested.
Sentencing has been set for April 6th of next year.Pitoniak faces 48 months in jail, three years of supervised release and restitution to Key Bank of more than $15,000.
