Duo Gamer

The phrase "game-changer" is used a lot when talking about new products but in this case that phrase can be used quite literally. That's because the Duo Gamer actually changes the way you play games on your mobile devices.

Duo Gamer connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch and then allows you to run, drive and shoot, just like you would on a traditional video game console, with a directional pad, two analog joysticks, four buttons and two triggers.

Duo Gamer doesn't work with all games, just certain ones by GameLoft. Right now, it's just and handful, including NOVA 3, Asphalt 7: Heat and Order and Chaos Online with Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front and Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation among other titles coming soon.

The Duo Gamer hits shelves this week for around $80.

Duo Pinball

The same developers are also out with the Duo Pinball, a peripheral for turning your iOS device into a more realistic, old fashioned, pinball machine.

Users slide their iOS device in the middle of the Duo Pinball device, which then connects via Bluetooth. Just like with a real pinball machine, users pull the plunger to launch the ball and hit the buttons on the sides to flip the virtual flippers.

Duo Pinball also works with five different themed pinball apps, which are all free: the Wild West, the ocean, the snow, the jungle and one that rolls you around a Leonardo da Vinci-inspired pinball machine.

Duo Pinball is out now for around $60.
