SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police have made an arrest in connection with last Friday's murder on East Fayette Street. Mark McMullen, 21, turned himself into police and has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Myquan Lawrence, 18, was shot several times Friday evening during a drive-by near the intersection of Fayette and Croly streets.

Police found Lawrence a few yards away. He was rushed to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
